See some of America's grandest sights as you tour historic plains and mountain country of North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming  and Utah.  Fly into Rapid City, ND, and visit Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, the Black Hills, Little Big Horn, Yellowstone (2 nights at Old Faithful Inn), Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, and the Mormon Tabernacle.  Fly home from Salt Lake City after 8 days of touring  through the west aboard your luxurious motor coach.

Daily Itinerary

​

​1. Your western adventure begins as you fly from OKC to Rapid City, SD. Transfer

     to hotel by courtesy shuttle. Welcome briefing in lobby at 7:00 pm.

​

2. This morning visit Crazy Horse Memorial, the world's largest sculpture in progress,

     and the Indian Museum of North America.  Next drive to Mt. Rushmore National

      Monument to view the faces of four of America's early Presidents. Return to Rapid

     City with free time to explore the historic district and stroll the Presidential Walk.(B)

3. Head west across Wyoming range lands to Sheridan for lunch.  Enter Montana's

    Big Sky Country and visit Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument in the Crow

    Nation.  Overnight in Billings, where Lewis and Clark camped in 1806. (B,L)

4. Journey through the wide open spaces of Montana to Cody and the Buffalo Bill

     Historical Center.  See the Plains Indian Museum and the Whitney Gallery of Art.

     This afternoon cross the continental divide and enter Yellowstone National Park.

      Check into the Old Faithful Inn for 2 nights & watch Old Faithful Geyser erupt. (B)

5. Today enjoy a complete circle tour of Yellowstone Park.  On the upper loop visit

    Norris Geyser Basin and Mammoth Hot Springs as you view elk and buffalo along,

    and often in, the road. On the lower loop you will see Yellowstone Lake and visit

    the majestic Yellowstone Falls, which are twice the height of Niagara Falls. (B)

6. This morning travel southward to the Grand Teton National Park where the movie

     Shane was filmed.  Visit Jenny Lake and have a picnic lunch near the banks of the

     Snake River.  Enjoy a float trip down the Snake river. Overnight in Jackson Hole.

     Stroll through it's art galleries and western shops and visit the Million Dollar 

     Cowboy Bar, with bar stools made from horse saddles.(B,L,D)

7. Drive south through the Bridger-Teton National Forest to Idaho and Bear Lake.

    Continue via Logan Canyon to Salt Lake City.  Visit Temple Square and the home  

    of  the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.​  Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner. (B,D)

8. Your western tour ends after breakfast.  Fly home from Salt Lake City with many
