Join us as we visit all five Great Lakes: Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and Lake Ontario.

Day 1: With our bags packed and our sights set on the adventure ahead of us, we travel for an overnight stay in the St Louis area at a Drury Inn with an included Drury light dinner(D)

Day 2: Today’s travel takes us into Milwaukee, WI where we will tour the Milwaukee Brewing Company, where a tour showcases the company’s passion for crafting and creating beers using the best local ingredients and suppliers. The tour is “Beer in Hand,” as samples are offered when we check in time for sampling at the end of the tour. Overnight in Milwaukee. (CB)

Day 3: The morning begins with a continental breakfast at the hotel before a guidedMilwaukee city tour. Get up close and personal with Milwaukee as we ride past the stately mansions along Lake Michigan, and interact with locals and experience the city as they do. You won’t just see Milwaukee, you will experience it! This afternoon board the S.S. Badger Ferry as we take a shortcut across Lake Michigan. You will find spacious outside decks for walking or lounging, free movies, satellite TV, live entertainment, two restaurants, full cocktail service, and shopping. Enjoy dinner on the ferry (on your own) before landing in Ludington. Overnight in Ludington, MI. (CB)

Day 4: After a continental breakfast we board the motor coach and travel to Mackinaw City where you will to ferry across Lake Huron to Mackinac Island. The pace is slowed down this evening as we enjoy the tranquility of the island, watching the boats and listening to the clippity clop of horse hooves. You will find no automobiles on the island only horse and buggy, or bicycles. Dinner is included this evening with your overnight on Mackinac Island.(CB,D)

Day 5: After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel experience the history, legends and beauty of Mackinac Island with a horse drawn carriage tour of the island. Your carriage ride will end at the beautiful and famous Grand Hotel where you will have a magnificentbuffet lunch. After lunch enjoy some free time to explore Mackinac Island on your own before we head back to the dock to catch the ferry back to the main land. As we head north to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula the coach will cross Mackinac Bridge the largest suspension bridge in the US with Lake Michigan on one side of the bridge and Lake Huronon the other side. Overnight in Sault Ste Marie. (B, L)

Day 6: Breakfast included before we depart the hotel and begin the morning with a Soo Locks Cruise. Travel the locks with a 21 foot difference in height that connects Lake Superior and Lake Huron beside freighters. We then leave Sault Ste. Marie and continue our journey to Frankenmuth, Michigan’s Little Bavaria. Frankenmuth is also home of the famous Bonner’s Christmas Store. Overnight in Frankenmuth, MI. (B)

Day 7: It’s time to get your passports out as we cross over the Canadian border today. This afternoon enjoy some free time for shopping at Niagara on the Lake sitting on the shores of Lake Ontario. Famous for its Heritage District, Niagara-on-the-Lake proudly presents a delightful shopping experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you are looking for antique shops, specialty foods, wines, or unique gifts, the merchants of Niagara-on-the-Lake will deliver a multitude of exceptional options.  Overnight in Niagara Falls, Ontario.(CB)

Day 8: Wake up to breakfast at the hotel before going on a city tour of Niagara Falls, Ontario. This afternoon  get ready to “Ride into the Mist” as the water of the falls rushes all around you on the Maid of the Mist boat that will take you from the Canadian docks past the base of the American Falls, then into the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls.  As North America's oldest tourist attraction, millions of visitors have enjoyed the boat tours since 1846. Then head back to your hotel to freshen up before dinner at the Falls. Overnight in Niagara Falls, Ontario. (B,D)

Day 9: Breakfast included before we leave Canada and cross back into the US we will have one last look at the beautiful and exciting Niagara Falls from Goat Island situated between Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls. From Goat Island, one can easily view the American and Horseshoe Falls. The last of the Great Lakes that we will visit is Lake Erie as we visit Presque Island State Park in Erie, PA. Overnight in Columbus, OH. (CB)

Day 10: Continental breakfast included before we depart the hotel and begin our journey back home. Overnight in the St Louis area at a Drury Inn with an included Drury light dinner (CB,D)

Day 11: Continental breakfast included at the hotel. We arrive home today with treasured memories of our fabulous “Great Lake Tour!” (CB) KN
